Our Mission

Our mission is to provide quality language course to all individuals who have chosen Filipino as their medium of communication for personal development or professional purpose, and to promote intercultural understanding through social activities based on volunteer work.

Our Method

We believe that the success of any language course is highly dependent upon the strengths of its teachers. We encourage teacher and student interaction on a familiar and individual basis both inside and outside of the classroom. We believe that the key to successful learning is through repetition and preparation.

Filipino as first language

My name is Mae Reyes and I come from Ibajay, Aklan in the Philippines. My local dialect is called Aklanon, but I have been speaking Filipino since I was a child in order to communicate with friends and relatives. When I started school at an early age of 4, I was introduced to proper grammar of the Filipino language. Aside from being fluent both in writing and speaking Aklanon and Filipino, I understand Bisaya and fluent in two other dialects, the Hiligaynon and Kinaray-a.

I was a private tutor for grade school and high school students when I was in the Philippines. I was also a part of a volunteer language group at the University of the Philippines that provided tutorial to exchange students. I have tutored several batches of university students from South Korea. Hence, I have solid experience and knowledge for systematic teaching.

I am very fond to learn different cultures as well as languages by travelling in different countries. It is always my pleasure to share my knowledge to other people.

I hold a BSc in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines and a MSc in Economics and Business Administration (cand.merc Accounting, Strategy & Control) from Copenhagen Business School.

Filipino as second language

My name is Philip Reyes and I consider myself as Danish. I was born in Copenhagen, and raised bilingual. My parents came to Denmark in the mid-70's from the Philippines and therefore the filipino language and culture has always been a natural part of my personality since childhood. I really enjoy teaching as a hobby and meeting curious people who are interested in learning different cultures. I am passionate about travelling, as I am always interested in learning about different cultures, people and food.

Currently, I work as an auditor and hold a MSc in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School.
